CELL CULTURE
The cell culture room houses three hoods for cell lines, primary cell culture, and human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) as well as six incubators for growing these cells.
"THE DAX"
“The Dax” is the Donnelly Lab’s Nikon A1R confocal and epifluorescent microscope named in honor of ALS warrior, Mr. Robert Dax. The Dax has a resonant laser scanner, DMD, and Photometrix 95 Primer camera and is used for laser and DMD LED stimulation with single molecule resolution.
The Donnelly Lab’s Nikon NiU epifluorescent microscope is outfitted with a Hamamatsu Orca Flash 4.0 camera and 10x through 100x objectives and a stage for automated Z plane imaging.
EPI MICROSCOPE
The Donnelly Lab's 3D Printer enables the team to customize any element of an experiment. With the use of 3D CAD software, the team can fabricate custom pieces and components in house.
